Does Fit Tea Detox Work? – NO! Here is Why…

What is Fit Tea Detox? (Short)

As you might already know, Fit Tea Detox is made from everyday organic materials. It contains natural ingredients that help boost metabolism, and have other health benefits as well.



According to Fit Tea, these are the ingredients they use:

  • Green tea
  • Wuyi Oolong
  • Rooibos
  • Garcinia cambogia
  • Pomegranate
  • Ginger
  • Guarana
  • Birch
  • Stevia
  • Honey
  • Sea salt


Looks good so far right? It actually is, but here is..


Why Fit Tea Doesn’t Work if You Want To Lose Weight…


Reason #1 (Biggest Reason)

First off, there is no “supplement” or “combination of ingredients” that will help you lose weight. There are sure some that can compliment the process, but if you really want to lose weight, the #1 thing you need to do is to eat in a caloric deficit!

You see, our body uses a certain amount of calories per day to function right? It really depends on each individual, but let’s say your body burns 2000 calories per day so it can “function”.

Well, if you want to lose weigh you NEED to eat below your maintenance (2000 calories) to lose weigh.

However, the problem in the fitness industry is that there are many fitness programs and challenges out there telling you to eat below 1000 calories under your maintenance. This is not healthy at all, here are the 2 main reasons why:

  • Your metabolism actually get used to eating low amount of food so it becomes slow. So when you come back to your normal diet you gain even more fat than you had before the “challenge” or “fitness program”.
  • Your body starts breaking down muscles. Meaning that it starts using muscle for energy instead of only calories and fat, so you become weaker.


So when it comes to losing body fat it is very important that you know what you are doing, and I DO NOT recommend you to try out anything that has to do with low calorie, low carb, or low fat diet.

Find a program that really helps you lose that body fat without doing it the unhealthy way, the temporary way, and the “not enjoyable” way.

If you want to lose weight and KEEP THAT WEIGHT OFF without gaining even more back. Please don’t join some sort of “extreme diet” before really knowing the harm that will actually to do you.


Reason #2

Another reason I know this “special tea” doesn’t work, but makes you think it works. Is that you do actually lose weigh, but not fat.

This is because most of the ingredients contains diuretics. Meaning you will only be flushing a lot of water from your system that will actually make you feel like you are losing weight, but the truth is you’re only shedding excess water.


Reason #3

And last but not least, is the amount of caffeine this has. It is totally not healthy to drink this everyday due to the amount of caffeine the Fit Tea Detox contains.

I don’t know about you but I don’t like having a risk of suffering from side-effects caused by too much caffeine in your system.

These can be: insomnia, nervousness and restlessness, stomach irritation, nausea and vomiting, increased heart rate and respiration, and more.

There are MUCH BETTER ways to lose fat. I do actually know a program that is perfect for you if you want to lose weight the healthy way, and KEEP IT OFF while living an enjoyable lifestyle.

Since I am a man, I don’t use this program. But my sister does, and according to her, it’s fantastic. She started the program 2 years ago and still uses it since it is easy to STICK to because it’s enjoyable.

    I have tried many weight loss supplements that haven’t worked for me. I have been reading about various detox teas and since I am a tea drinker I thought this might be a great way to lose 20lbs.

    But now after reading your review I am thinking that these “weight loss” teas will not do what they claim. I haven’t looked at Fit Tea specifically but there are many on the market. My guess is they are probably all the same.

    I will take a look at the program you have recommended at the end of the article.

      Yeah, a specific “supplement” or food won’t do any magic. It’s all about training correctly, eating correctly, and enjoying the progress.

    You are definitely correct reducing calories to lose weight. I lost 75 pounds over an 8 month period by maintaining a 1500-2000 calorie diet. I didn’t drastically cut my calories right away, instead I slowly reduced them until I was able to hit that mark. And it worked wonders.

    I have never heard of fit tea but it has great ingredients. you are very right for anyone who wants to lose weight they need to eat in a caloric deficit. I will inform my wife about the goddess toning program. this is a great website and great information.
