Is Kinobody a SCAM?

My goal for this post is going to be to answer the question: is Kinobody a SCAM? Which will make you realize whether you should buy programs from Kinobody or not. Keep in mind that this is going to be from my perspective and own experience with Kinobody. Enjoy the review!

Founder: Greg O’ Gallagher

The Kinobody Program I’m Currently Following: Greek God

My personal rating: 98/100 (Best Ranking in Muscle Strategies!)

What I know about Kinobody (Short)

Kinobody is created for people who want a lifestyle they can enjoy while progressing and getting stronger at the gym. It is one of the hottest fitness trends now in the industry and it has been growing extremely fast lately.

After watching Greg O’ Gallagher’s videos on YouTube for a while, the guy convinced me into buying his muscle building program and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my diet and body.

Greg O’ Gallagher, the founder of Kinobody made me realize that building a great physique and losing fat is actually very EASY.

Greg O’ Gallagher (Founder of Kinobody)

What are the positives about Greg’s programs?

  • You only train 3 days a week.
  • You only do about 4-5 exercises in a workout.
  • You notice results in your body and strength early (Maybe 4-6 weeks, depending on the individual).
  • The programs are very “complete”. Everything you need to know are written in the programs.
  • You are allowed to join his private Facebook groups once you buy one of his programs (very supportive group).
  • You will learn to eat in a very enjoyable way that has benefits for fat loss AND your health as well (meaning that you can live longer, etc).
  • His programs contain many fat loss and muscle building strategies that other programs don’t have.
  • Greg’s programs are based on science.
  • Kinobody has programs for women too.

What are the negatives about Greg’s programs?

  • The workouts are intense!
  • You have to be consistent and disciplined in order to get the results you want.
  • You have to apply the Intermittent Fasting Protocol (Kinobody Style) to your lifestyle, although is not completely necessary. But when you get use to it, dieting becomes extremely easy.

Why are the Kinobody programs so special?

His programs are unique, almost everything he recommends on his programs are against many bodybuilding courses like:

      • Training 5-6 times a week (which is overtraining).
      • Performing long sessions at the gym.
      • Consuming unnecessary supplements.
      • Eating 5-6 small meals a day (which is not satisfying when you diet).

Check out what Kinobody is all about in this video:

Is it a scam or not?

No, absolutely not! I personally have the program myself and it has made my life a lot easier! Check out my results and personal experience with Kinobody on my about me page here.

I would recommend his programs to people who want to be muscular AND lean at the same time. Kinobody programs also works well for people who want to live a healthier lifestyle as well. You mentioned that you have the Kinobody program. Would you say that the program offers best strategies for women to gain muscle? Looking to build muscle and remain lean. Was a former athlete and many of these programs offer little to no results. Looking for something intense. But, not so intense.

Hey Nakisha. Kinobody is not a program, is a “brand” that offers different programs for specific people. If you are interested on buying the Kinobody program made for women, you can check out: “The Goddess Toning Program“. It is a specific program made for women. It will tell you exactly what to do in order to achieve your fitness goals.

But if you are not ready to buy anything yet, you can check out his content about training for women here: “The Women’s Workout Guide To Looking Like A Goddess“. This is a blog that Greg made specifically for woman. Hopefully you will get something out of it. Hope I helped:)

    Hi Antonio,
Kino body looks interesting, never seen it before. The vids look polished and not like the other ‘get trim fast’ vids.. found myself watching. The site is nice and clean, not too cluttered. How much does it cost over bout 6months to do this program?
Just small note mate about your pictures on the ‘about me’ page.. will look more professional if you blur your face rather than squiggle in red, also remove the watermark if you can or embed it.

I’ll keep an eye on this training, thanks!

You only have to pay one time, plus you can get your money back if you are not satisfied with the program. The prices variate from program to program, they are usually around $20-$50.

Btw, thanks for the feedback on the about me page. I can’t really do anything to the picture since I saved it from snapchat, but I can take another picture in a later stage.

Well, its always good to find a review that gives you the scoop based on experience you personally have with a program.

Once upon a time I was in shape, even buff, and it made all the difference in how I handled my responsibilities as a single parent of five. This program doesn’t sound like it will work for a 60 something grandparent but I’d be interested in hearing what you have to say about that.

I don know that having muscle makes keeping healthy so much easier and helps in weight maintenance too.

    Thanks for sharing your experience.

      Hey Linda,

Kinobody definitely works for people at your age. In fact is one of the only programs out there that actually works for people at your age. The program includes an eating strategy called intermittent fasting, which has huge benefits for your overall health like: reducing risk of cancer, type 2 diabetes and heart diseases (You can learn more about the heath benefits of intermittent fasting on my new post here if you are interested).

The Kinobody Fitness Systems has a Kinobody Survey as well. The Kinobody survey is made to find out what program works best for you based on your answers, so feel free to check it out.

The kino lifestyle is awesome! I started to see more results and improvements once I joined Kinobody.
I’m currently on the Warrior Shredding program which is the one program he recommended me in the Kinobody Survey, and I have seen great results so far in only 2 weeks.

I have used many different programs throughout my life that have claimed to be great diet and exercise strategies. I have not found one that has worked really well for me. I would love one that didn’t require me to workout 6 days a week for what seems like forever. I don’t have time for that, so I think this Kinobody might be worth a shot

Excellent promotional video. I almost want to participate just to watch him work out. I do have a question. I see them using weights and monkey bars in the workouts. Am I able to participate in the program without any equipment? Besides the actual purchase of the program, what would you think the average investment would be in terms of equipment? Thanks!

      Hey Renee,

Kinobody actually has a bodyweight program. For this program you won’t need any equipments exept for a bar, that’s all you need. However, if you are interested in the other programs then I would recommend that you either join a gym or buy the following equipment: barbell, pull up bar, power rack, and some benches.

Is this program just for men or can women use it? Also, you say that you have used it and I am assuming from your review that it has worked for you, do you have any before and after shots of yourself that will show me that it really works? I ask because you see people all the time claiming that it works for them, but the pictures of the results are always pictures of beautifully skinny or muscular models. I would like to see results from a real person.

I used to be small when I was younger, but have put on many pounds over the years and even though I have managed to lose a couple of pounds on my own, I think I need a little help with the fluctuating results. I have already tried several other programs, but they never work.

I am currently losing pounds but not inches and at my age it is getting harder and harder to lose those inches. Will this program help?

I tend to have more interest in program that are mostly body weight exercises mixed in intervals. The workouts are intense but if a person will commit to these type programs you definitely can get results especially if you improve the way you eat at the same time. Many programs like this are a bit overkill and some are generic but I mostly see people scamming themselves by thinking that they will commit to the programs

When I say Intense, I don’t mean intense cardio, I mean lifting heavy. Cardio is not really necessary if you are eating on a caloric deficit, walking every day is enough if you are eating in a caloric deficit. What I like about Greg’s programs is that he teaches how to have a life while pregressing and improving your body.

    Hi

This looks like a great program, I was a personal trainer for 4 years so I’ve always been into health and fitness.

I like that its only 3 days a week, some plans over do it and have people killing themselves everyday. Same with the amount of exercises that are done, people don’t realise that its the same with everything less is more, as long as the intensity is there it’ll still work.

I know there are a lot of different programs out there for getting into shape and trying to maintain your gains.

From everything I have seen or tried, it is a matter of setting up a lifestyle to keep things in balance.

Would you say this system is easier to incorporate into one’s lifestyle time wise and diet wise to keep doing it without breaking the cycle?

    1. Antonio Alessandro Bianculli

      Hey Travis,

The methods used in the programs can be used for a lifetime and it is perfect for people that don’t have much time, since you are only training 40-50 minutes, 3 days a week, and eating 2 big satisfying meals, plus snacks here and there.

One of the things I like the most about the Kinobody programs is that once you learn the methods and strategies on the programs, training and eating gets more enjoyable than the usual way to eat.

I started getting involve in body fitness since 3 years ago. Most of the time, it’s very hard to have a training especially to lose all body fat in every angle, because that one is the initial training before builds up the muscle mass. Based on my friend testimonial, its takes 6 months to get the better result without taking any supplement and rely only on the natural foods. Do you think this is true?

      Hey Rendall,

Results vary from people to people. There are a lot of factors playing on how fast you get the results, gens, how good your training is, nutrition, etc. The Kinobody programs are long term programs, however, early results are definitely possible with Kinobody.

Working out 3 days a week with intense workouts, and using intermittent fasting to develop your body are what kinobody is promoting I believe. I’m sure any intense weight training program works if you are diligent about it. When you ask is kinbody is a scam – why would that be? Is it because they charge a lot to join, because they expect you to buy expensive supplements, they don’t deliver on giving you great instructions or getting you great results? I’m not sure. Tell me more. Also tell me in a personal way how it helped you. Did you show more muscle definition? Lose weight, get stronger, workout less, feel better, eliminate using supplements because they are no longer necessary?

Hi Antonio, thanks for the great review of Kinobody. I think I’d like to try especially now you say you shouldn’t work out too often and spend too long in the gym.

I run every morning then do a little bit of muscle workouts (only for a few minutes), I do that every day and I know that’s not the way to build muscles. I like a proper training, and 3 times a week, 4-5 exercises in a workout sounds very convincing. How long do you need to spend for each workout session?

This sounds like a pretty cool way to bulk up – the program definitely seems to have a few pros worth thinking about. The only downside from my point of view is the Intermittent Fasting technique – not so keen on this type of dieting and I’ve never really seem it as healthy. What do you think?

      Hey Chris,

I thought the same at first, but trust me intermittent fasting is amazing.

Check out the health benefits here, and check out how you can build more muscle with intermittent fasting here.

However, if you really don’t want to do intermittent fasting then that’s ok, as long as you are hitting your calories and macros (the program shows how) you are going to progress. Intermittent fasting only makes dieting a lot easier for some people, and it might not be something for you.

      I hope this helps Chris.

From the perspective of someone who has tried (and still follows) one of Greg’s programs I can surely attest that it works BUT, I also believe that most fitness programs will produce results, the problem resides with how focused and willing people are to actually do the work necessary and really give these programs a chance by actually sticking to them for at least a year. Most things in life do ACTUALLY require a significant amount of effort and striving for the perfect body is NO EXCEPTION.

This sounds like a pretty good program. I’ve always be turned off by workout routines that take hours a day and are impossible to keep up because they are so time consuming.

I’m a a little skeptical that you can get the body of the creator in just a few exercises a day. What type of exercises are they? Are they full body, aerobic, weights?

The fasting stuff is pretty interesting too. I’ve heard fasting can be really good for you when done correctly. I agree that eating five to six times a day isn’t the way to go about it either.

    Thanks for writing this!

      Hey Dylan,

The creator built his body training like that, BUT he has been CONSISTENT. He has been training like that for about 10 years now. However, many people are getting very good results in only 1-3 months, and the most important thing is that they are enjoying the progress.

Oh, and the type of exercise is weight training.

    Hi Antonio,

I really focused in on some of the thoughts that you shared about this particular muscle/building program. You stated, although not really a con that in order to benefit from the program one would be required to participate in it 5 – 6 days per week and for extremely long sessions. Wouldn’t that possibly be considered in a way negative? I always believed, admittedly not knowing all that much about weight training, that high intense, repetitive but shorter workouts would be more beneficial regarding muscle building programs.

I also noted that the need to eat 5 – 6 full meals per day would be counter-productive to an individual looking to put on muscle but not necessarily a lot of weight.

Hey Bill, I personally fast everyday, Greg does it too. It just makes it so much more enjoyable. However, if you are struggling to get your calories in, or you simply don’t like the idea of fasting, just don’t do it. It’s not necessary as long as you are hitting your calories and macros.

And yes, we hit all muscle groups every week.

Great to see that Kinobody covers nutrition and exercise in the same program. Whether trying to drop fat or build muscle, it’s important to use both in combination (in my opinion).

This Kinobody is definitely sounding like an option for me.

Just one question, not sure if you know the answer but I’d appreciate your opinion. I am looking to drop fat and build muscle. I have some excess fat (not huge amounts but enought that I definitely want to reduce it). Do you think the best strategy would be to do the Aggressive Fat Loss program first and then do the Greek God Progranm afterwards? Or would the Greek God Program enable you to drop the fat whilst building muscle?

Thanks for the honest review here.

      Hey Nathan,

I would suggest you to do the Warrior Shredding Program. With this one, you will be dropping fat and building muscle at the same time. I just putted a link to the landing page of the Warrior Shredding Program, feel free to check it out.

Would you be willing to write a review on BioX4? I’m interested in probiotics and the role it plays in lowering fat content and improving muscle building. I’m not an athlete, but I love working out and I’d love to have that ideal, healthy body. Overall, your website is lovely and the content is engaging. You have lots of great information, my friend!

    Hi there,

Very interesting review. How soon can someone see results on the program for muscle building and the diet one?

I have to ask, but can results be obtained if you skip the lower body workouts?

I am disabled and there is no way, zero chance of me working out the lower body – or even considering it for that matter.

People get results faster on the fat loss program, but that’s because it is a lot easier to shred off fat than building muscle.

Yes, you can get results without training lower body.

I’ve been following Kino for a while on youtube and he has never came off as a scam artist to me. He has an amazing body that I wish I had lol. I like the way he explains things. The last video I saw of him was about his body fat percentage. I think he had got to around 8 percent body fat. The only problem I have is the eating part of his training. In my opinion the diet will starve whoever is trying to achieve that type of “body.” I could be wrong though.

      Hey,

The main goal with Kinobody programs is to progress while enjoying life. Meaning, eating delicious food and big meals in a strategic way so that you can maintain yourself full the whole day. Also, there are actually people complaining that they can’t get their calories in by doing the strategy, is not like that to me though hehe.

    Hi Antonio,

    Great article!
I always wanted to build some muscles and it seems that there are a lot of advantages using kinobody program, at least to me:) I am a bit lazy and very impatient to see the results, so I am sure it will just be perfect for me.
I have bookmarked your website so I can read more about the woman program later on:)
Thank you for this great post!

Thank you very much for this review antonio! I’ve been looking for a body building program that is actually working. You’ve introduced me to kinobody programs. I’ve also found this program in your #1 recommended program. I’m looking forward to try this later on. Thanks for the review again !

Hi there! I really wanted to start building the body that I have always wanted. But then I can’t find of any program that suits my preference. I find the kinobody program interesting. But I have still questions. Is this program advisable for beginners? Because I really don’t have any previous physical experience.

I would suggest you learn the techniques and movements of the exercises and get used to them (can take up to some weeks or a month maybe). Then you can start with Kinobody. The reason to this is because you are going to be lifting heavy with the programs, so you need some experience lifting weights, but not that much, just learn the techniques before heavy lifting and you will be fine.

Thank you for a great product review, your review is very convincing since you have used the product with positive results. What about someone who has health issues with endurance, would this be too strenuous of a workout for them to start out after not working out for some time?

Sounds like a very good product with good results, working out 3 days per week most people should be able to fit that into their routine. Would you suggest taking any special supplements, if you do what would you suggest?

Supplements aren’t necessary, don’t waste your money on them. But if you really want a supplement then buy creatine, is one of them that actually gets you results.

Kinobody sounds very interesting. I would never have time to go to the gym every day and don’t have enough money to buy all different supplements… even though I use hemp protein powder in my breakfast shake because I am a vegetarian…
I have read a little bit about intermittent fasting but if he means to skip the breakfast I do not agree whit him in that. Sure it’s not the same for everyone but if I skip breakfast, I will feel nauseous very fast.

The video with Lamborghini and sexy women made my body hair go up… I don’t understand the need for that kind of bragging and it makes me take him less seriously.

But you speak well about his training programs and got me interested so I will take a closer look at it. Nice job with the review.
    Cheers

I agree with you when it comes to the Lamborghini and girls. But the programs still work fantastic though… The Lamborghini was rented though, and I think the reason he had all that was because the video was inspired by the wolf of wall street movie.

Every field seems to have some legitimate products that sound like scams and some scams that sound like legitimate products – which certainly makes it difficult to figure out what you should rely on.

Kinobody sounds interesting, especially because it looks like a pretty intense approach. I do like the way that programs don’t focus on overtraining. It seems like far too many bodybuilding and fitness training emphasize doing as much exercise as humanly possible, which often isn’t actually a good thing for the body.

Good recommendation. I always prefer learning platforms like this over products because when people learn they can carry with them the knowledge for their whole lives. The thing with products is that they always get outdated and are replaced. Keep up the good work with the site. There are tons of great things to promote in this area.

Sounds like it’s working well for you. I do think that most people that try to get big and lower body fat percentage tend to make a few mistakes.

One is that they over train. Two is that they do not get an aerobic activity in. Three which makes two worse is bad nutrition.

The key to lower body fat % is definitely nutrition. It takes some discipline to succeed at anything and many people give up way to soon.

Not much goes in a straight line and we all have ups and downs. Did you do the fasting? How long is the fasting?

Take it from an old body builder as you get older, I am 60 now and look great by the way, the focus switches from building the body to just staying healthy.

Good luck my friend and may you get bigger than a house.

Thanks Barry. I usually do the fasting for 4-6 hours after waking up, it depends, if I get hungry earlier then I eat earlier. Don’t make the eating window a big deal.

    Hi,

Thanks for your informative post. I love to play sports but I had never actually go and work out intensively. Is it fine to join this program without any equipment whatsoever? I really don’t have any equipment to work out. And I also never join any gym. Can you suggest what I need to do next?

    Cheers

Congratulations on doing it the right way. I think my husband has been doing his own version of this, with intense bursts of training a few times a week and has always said more than this is considered overtraining.
    Keep it up!

I’m impressed Antonio there some great videos and never mid the weights being lifted but respect to all the guys dong the hand-stand and one-arm press ups! You can fake weights being lifted but you can fake lifting your own bodyweight!

A someone who loves going to the gym and getting after it I’ll be checking out this program. Online support is a big factor and I wouldn’t consider the workout being intense as a negative or the fact that you have to be consistent and disciplined with your workouts. We will only grow as humans when we push through, stay disciplined and achieve our goals!

Thanks for the heads up on this product and I’m looking forward to your next review,

Never heard of Kinobody but the information and results are something that can work for those looking for this style of training and eating. It is all about personal preference. I personally love to lift weights and do bodybuilding but more of the classic golden era. People could honestly do this program and compete in physique no problem. This is a nice alternative for people. Great post.

    Hi there,

Fasting on a regular basis makes me concerned that my body may not be getting the nutrients such as minerals and of course vitamins that it needs to function properly. Just how intense are the fasting periods? how many days do they last?

Finally, what is the success rate of the program?

    Reply
    1. Antonio (Post author)

Let it last for about 4 – 6 hours after waking up (every day), But don’t let it control your life. Fasting is a tool we like to use so we can enjoy the progress more as you can have bigger meals and get full for a longer time.

Besides fasting being enjoyable, it also has tons of benefits, and you should not worry about vitamins and minerals as long as you are getting them in your eating window.

    Hey, Antonio,

Thank you for the review. Interesting product indeed. However, I would say the list of Why-it-is-special makes me rather cautious – unnecessary supplements, etc.

And it was confusing how you suddenly jumped right to the conclusion that it is not a scam. I would prefer to read a bit more about why you came to this conclusion.

Anyway, thank you for the information 🙂

    God bless you,

    Hi , Antonio!

I like the idea you express your opinion on different training programms and it is very unique that you show us your results from training. It allows unkonown people to trust you and I think that is a great value in every website. And the best way to advertise an programm is to try it on yourself, I think that is the game-changer.

    Good luck,

    Toms
