Have you ever tried these crazy low carbs, low fat, or low calorie diets? Are you seeing any results?

lose-fat

Well at the beginning you will, but I promise when you start eating normal again you will gain the weight back! Not only that, your metabolism and hormones are going to be damaged.

This is because you are not eating carbs and/or fats and you are eating a very small amount of food (calories). When you eat in a huge caloric deficit, your metabolism gets used to burning small amounts of foods.

This means that when you stop doing these crazy diets, your metabolism is not going to be able to burn as much food as it did before. Which is definitely not healthy for your body.

Let me introduce you to one of the best weight loss programs for men and women so far.

Introducing The Kinobody Lifestyle (A Much Better Way to Lose Fat and Build Muscle)

Greg O' Gallagher

Greg O’ Gallagher (Founder of Kinobody)

The Kinobody Lifestyle is a much healthier way to lose fat and build muscle. Greg O’ Gallagher, the founder of Kinobody teaches the most enjoyable and strategic way to lose fat and build muscle in the Kinobody Programs.

In his programs, he uses many different strategies that makes dieting A LOT more enjoyable, including intermittent fasting. The program also includes a 3 day split workout plan and a presence bonus that will put you in the right mindset for achieving your goals.

The program is structured in a way that will make you experience quick results with no negative effects at all. It will teach you exactly how to set your calories and macronutrient intake for MAXIMUM fat loss and MINIMUM muscle loss. You will stop spending hours doing cardio, you will never feel hunger again, and you will be able to eat delicious foods.

Why I like Kinobody

His programs are very unique. Almost everything he recommends on his programs are against many bodybuilding courses like:

  • Training 5-6 times a week (which is over training).
  • Performing long sessions at the gym.
  • Consuming unnecessary supplements.
  • Eating 5-6 small meals a day (which is not satisfying when you diet)

bodyweight-training

What I like about Kinobody

  • You only train 3 days a week.
  • You only do about 4-5 exercises in a workout.
  • The programs are made for people at almost any age! (My father, who is 49, is currently on one of his programs)
  • You notice results in your body and strength early (Maybe 4-6 weeks, depending on the individual).
  • The Kinobody programs are very “complete”. Everything you need to know are written in the programs.
  • You will learn to eat in a very enjoyable way that has benefits for fat loss AND your health as well (meaning that you can live longer).
  • His programs contain many fat loss and muscle building strategies that other programs don’t have.
  • Greg’s programs are based on science, his 10 years of experiencing and trying new things, and the experiences of hundreds of his clients.

There are some negatives things about Kinobody though, but they don’t bother me that much:

  • The workouts are intense!
  • You have to be consistent and disciplined in order to get the results you want.
  • You have to apply the Intermittent Fasting Protocol (Kinobody Style) to your life, although is not completely necessary. But when you get use to it, dieting becomes extremely easy.

These transformations are incredible, they really put trust in this program, their are so many programs out there which promise results but dont have any evidence to back it up that its quite sad to be honest.
You have written a fantastic review and i look forward ot more of these in your website in the future. Many people want to lose weight and this seems like a very good program!

    Hi Antonio,
I think my favorite things about this post has to be your first paragraph. I agree that the “diet-cycle” that so many people adopt is definitely bad for them in the long term. I imaging it’s a bit like sideways shuttle runs – you’re pulling your body from one direction to another in quick succession, doing more harm than good in the long term. Not that shuttle runs themselves are bad? I enjoyed the video, and I’m not surprised Gregg is happy with his body, house and car – and therefore his life! Do you have any material that’s more focused on women?
Interesting article – I hadn’t heard of this program before.

    Hi Antonio

It’s makes sense what you said. Low calorie diet, gives the body less ‘food’ to burn, but the moment one resumes to normal diet, the burning is reduced. I never knew this before, thanks for that.

I never knew about ‘Kinobody’ as well. This sounds amazing.I am currently on the P90x program. That is a 90 day workout program with daily exercise regimes.

Though the exercises as you mentioned with Kinobody is intense, it’s is less frequent.I like this part a lot.

Would you recommend I stop the P90 completely before I embark on Kinobody, or can I slowly introduce it whilst I do the P90?

Thanks for offering me a great alternative.

I would really recommend checking Kinobody out. If you are interested, start your journey by doing the kinobody survey. It will send you to a link that will recommend you a specific program to achieve your specific fitness goals, awesome stuff there. That video is super awesome and I love Bruce Wayne! It actually gave me motivation to work harder and workout and get my body back into shape.

The expensive car was unnecessary though. Kinobody sounds really cool and I would love to give it a try, how long have you been doing it? It would be really cool if you could share your progress with us.

The transformations are very impressive. The step to this plan seem very attainable! I am not a gym rat and hate any plan that requires me to spend half my life there. I do enjoy a good workout but have no interest in “getting ripped.” This sounds more like step to a life style change more than just bulking up. Would you suggest this for people who don’t have weight to lose but would like to get healthier?

    Reply
    1. Antonio Alessandro Bianculli

      Hey Heather Grace,

Kinobody is not a program, it is a brand that offers different programs to specific people. To find out what program is best for you to your specific goal check out the Kinobody Survey. It will send you to a link with the recommended program based on your answers.

…and yes, I would recommend it to people that want to get healthier. The program will teach you how to get stronger and stay lean at the same time. Also if you don’t want to look bigger, you can always maintain your weight by not increasing the weights on the bar.

Oh and by the way, Kinobody has programs for woman too, so feel free to check out the Kinobody Survey to find out which program works best for you.

And of course, if you are not ready to buy anything yet, but you are interested in the Kinobody lifestyle, feel free to learn more about it here on Muscle Strategies or in Kinobody.com

Thanks for providing the review. I totally agree with what you say here – lots of those low-carb diets are not sustainable because they’re totally not what you want to eat on a day-to-day basis. Dieting works much better when you enjoy what you’re eating.

Honestly, lots of people can lose a lot of weight by just quitting the soda.

By the way, I clicked your link ““The Aggressive Fat Loss Program“ and it brought me to a “page not found” page.

Nice post and maybe something to look at more but seems a bit contavertial telling people they should fast for 8 hours when we are all taught in weight loss and fitness training that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, it kickstarts your matabelism. This comes from doctors, nutritionist’s and other health experts. It kind of feels like this 24 year old kid seams to know more than everyone.

    Reply
    1. Antonio Alessandro Bianculli

      Hey Jason,

There are lots of outdated research out there. Fasting is proven to increase your metabolism drastically, it also increases testosterone levels, and has TONS of other benefits as well. If you are interested in the benefits, feel free to check out my post “What are The Benefits of Intermittent Fasting?” and if you are interested in a post with proven scientific research, check out this post from authoritynutrition.com

But yeah, at the end of the day the most important thing is how much calories you ate, and the nutrients of course (macro- and micro-nutrients). Fasting is an awesome tool though. I really recommend trying it, it will make dieting a lot easier and more enjoyable if done correctly.

Hope this answers your question Jason 🙂

Your review is very thorough and I like what you are saying about this. The programme is certainly supporting what the current thinking about health, fitness and weight loss is- High Intensity, short interval training is the way forward. Your criticisms of the programme, although understandable, are easy to remedy. The need for discipline, the fasting and the intensity concerns are things everyone has with any new lifestyle change. We get use to it! I will probably sign up to it through your site. Good job!

I have heard about intermittent fasting before. Someone I worked with went on it and struggled. She really struggled on the days when she was only eating 500 calories. Some people report great success with it, and say that their bodies get used to having fewer calories on several days per week. Other people say that they were unbearable to be around on their fasting days. I must confess, though, I haven’t tried it myself, although I have had a few occasional fasting days when I have had digesting problems and wanted to give my digestive system a rest.

    Reply
    1. Antonio Alessandro Bianculli

Hey Marcus, the reason people do intermittent fasting on Kinobody (including me), is to have a more enjoyable diet. 500 calories is waaay to little. Intermittent fasting makes it more enjoyable since you are not eating 6 small meals a day, but 2 very big meals which satisfies you for whole day, you feel full even on the next day in the morning…

Anyways, intermittent fasting is not really necessary if you really don’t want to do it, although dieting is a lot easier with it. What matters the most is the amount of calories you are eating and your macros, check this post to find out!

      I hope this helps 🙂

Great information and very helpful for me. I have been wanting to get involved with some sort of work out plan. I am great about getting plenty of cardio, but am not motivated for the strength training aspect. As I get older I notice my arms in particular are really needing help. Thank you for providing a great starting point for me to begin researching options.

This seems like an interesting approach. I have struggled all my life with weight management and the older I get the farther away I get from a healthy weight. I like the idea of all the things this program doesn’t encourage you to do like the supplements and junk. Not sure about the intensity part. Do they have like a beginners part of the program?

      Hey Diana,

The founder of Kinobody is a man. Although when Greg made Goddess Toning Program (the fat loss program for women), he worked with Dell Farrell, which is a woman professional trainer. So the program was made by both. Here is more information about the program for women if you are interested. I hope it helps.

Hi Antonio, I enjoyed reading about your strategy. You mentioned your father was on a program. Does he find it hard to stay with the program at his age? I have 19 years on him and was wondering if this was something I could stick with. Your explanation of the diet and training sounds better than anything I heard of before. Like you said it goes against what a lot of trainer teach.

I am a fan of intermittent fasting myself so this program might interest me. You said his programs are intense. Are they gym orientated or can you do home workouts? I’ve recently started calisthenics workouts and enjoy them but I’m wondering would they fit with kinobody’s program.

    Hey Antonio,
I totally agree with what the article said. I personally have been doing a lot of weight loss routines and diets. In the beginning I followed many random people and weird exercise routines. Sometimes I uses to load up on carbs and sometimes on proteins. As I increased my knowledge I realised the true concepts of weight loss and how to achieve them. The Kinobody program looks promising and the trainer has some very good tips and genuine experience. I will give this training a try after 2 months with some of my buddies.
    Thanks for sharing,

I enjoyed your article very much, I myself do not believe in diets to lose and maintain your weight. Like your product review I believe in adjusting to a healthy lifestyle routine, I think its great these programs are good for anyone of any age, especially since i am in my late fifties now, I just can not workout 5-6 days per week as I use to when i was much younger. I like the idea of a intense 3 days per week workout , plus a healthy lifestyle with your meals and snacks over dieting and working out 5 to 6 days per week.

Hi, I am a bit confused, from the title I expected a weight loss program, but your pictures show body builders. So how is this related? I am not interested in building muscles. Is there anything here that does not include some funny exercises, i am lazy by nature? You give a picture of Greg O’ Gallagher, so he is obviously a body builder, I do not see much of a healthy eating habits, or did I just got it all wrong? Thank you.

You mention about doing intermittent fasting as part of the diet segment. You say you eat the same food but in less time from what you said from the other page from the link.

Are you talking about eating some meals sooner than having a larger span of time until the next time you eat or am I missing something?

This program looks good but doesn’t seem for me. Although you can probably build some muscle from this program it seems like it is primarily for losing weight. Seems legit, as I have heard nothing but good things about intermittent fasting and the other techniques I have heard about as well. However, I am trying to gain weight instead. Do you know of any good programs that could do this?

I have to admit, I’m usually kinda skeptical about weight loss programs just because there are so many claiming to be the miracle cure that you need, but this one looks very different. Kinobody and your article covering it both seem heavy on substance and well-informed content and light on vague, pie-in-the-sky promises. It also helps that you’re speaking as someone who’s actually tried the program yourself. Very nicely done.

    Happy trails!
