What is The Fastest Way to Lose Belly Fat: Step by Step Guide

Before we start you should know something, losing fat is not going to happen overnight. It is a long progress, so be consistent and follow this step by step guide. It will make it a lot easier for you. Also, take notes as you read through this post. Now, what is the fastest way to lose belly fat?

Step 1: Set a Goal & Make a Plan

The first thing you need to think about is where are you right now? where do you want be? and how are you going to get there?

Set a specific goal and write it down. Your goal can’t be “lose weight”. It has to be specific, set something like “lose 15 lbs”. Once you are done setting your goal, you will have to write down a plan that will help
you achieve your goal.lower-body

There are several things you will need to write down on your notes as you read through the post:

  • What days are your training days?
  • What days are your reefed days? (I would recommend having reefed days once per week)
  • How much calories will you be eating?
  • How are your macros going to be set up?

Step 2: Calories & Macros

The second thing you need to do is to set up your calories and macros. Click here in my post related to that, it will show you exactly how to do it.

Step 3: Workout Plan

Once you have your calories and macros set up, you will need to find out your workout plan. Here is a simple plan you can use as a workout plan: Workout Plan for “How to Get Rid of Fat”.

I would suggest only training 3 days a week to get proper rest and recovery. I would also suggest walking around 30 minutes to 1 hour every day if possible. There is no need for cardio if you are eating on a caloric deficit (eating more than you burn) and walking everyday, so don’t stress too much about it.

Abs can be trained on rest days 2-3 times a week as well.

Step 4: Intermittent Fasting

Intermittent Fasting is optional, but if you apply this eating strategy into your lifestyle, the results will come faster and it will make dieting a lot easier as well. Check out what intermittent fasting is and how to use it by clicking here (This will send you to my post related to the basics of intermittent fasting). I highly recommend intermittent fasting if you are trying to lose weight.

Step 5: Take Action & Track Everythingtrack-fat-loss

Tracking is very important! So make sure you track the following:

  • Your calories and macros
  • How much you are lifting
  • Your waist measurement
  • Take a picture every week or month
  • Your weigh

Now you need to apply everything that you have learnt in this post and take action! be CONSISTENT and stick to the plan!

Not noticing any results?

    Hi,
my wife and I have suddenly began to add on excessive weight. I have tried some exercise regiments, but my weight still would not reduced. I know I have an issue with my eating habit, I just can put away junk food.

I have learnt a lot from your post, previously, I have tried exercise but not to the extend of having a schedule for it, I mostly do it anytime I remember.

Reading through your post I might just have to make some adjustment.

      Hey,

The real key to losing weight is consistent caloric deficit. You can still eat junk food, but try to fit them into your calorie intake goal.

      I’m glad I helped:)

    Hi Antonio,
My metabolism really slowed down in the past few years…probably because I slowed down, too. I have a sedentary job and sedentary lifestyle and gained an average of 8 pounds a year for 3 years in a row and then I kept it on! I set a plan to loose 25 pounds, and have my exercise and eating mapped out daily. I am accountable for weight loss once per week and I make sure to build in treats so I don’t blow it!
    What is a macro?
    Thanks.
    Alyssa

Hey Alyssa, I would really like to help you out on burning those pounds you gained in 3 years.

I can help you achieve this in several months while enjoying delicious foods in the progress. But you have to take action and stay consistent with your plan.

I know the perfect program that will help you achieve your goal, but it will cost you some money to get access to it. So that’s why I made this post (which is of course free) that will also help you achieve your goal. Is not as good as the program, but it will hopefully help you a little, and when you feel comfortable with this lifestyle you can then (if you want to) purchase the program here.

Anyways, just make sure you read through the whole post and make sure that you read the articles linked in the post as well.

Hope I helped, and good luck on your journey!

Thanks for guidelines to losing belly fat. I agree that it is really important to set a goal, write it down, and track your progress toward that goal. I recently set out to lose a little bit of weight and get healthy. I wanted to lose 20 lbs and I tracked my progress and was seeing good results. That helped keep me motivated toward my goal. Thanks for the advice. Will be back for more!

Hey, I liked how your structures this post, it’s very simple to follow all these steps.
I think setting up a plan is the most important thing, but it really matters if you have ambition, else it will be really hard to follow the initial plan.
And tracking all your progress would be a great thing to do, because of the motivation. Seeing you’ve progressed will make you want more, so you’ll keep working at this.
I really liked your post, and I’m definitely coming back to your site. 🙂

    Hey Antonio,

I have found that intermittent fasting has worked well for me. I have been intermittent fasting throughout my cut and so far I have dropped 10 pounds in 5 weeks. It is great.

When you do intermittent fasting you also eat big meals that do not leave you hungry.

Can you do intermittent fasting on a bulk?

Great article on fat loss. As a bodybuilder I know the importance this strategies. I too use the rules when it comes to preparing for a show or just to shed of unwanted bodyfat.
Now as on the article, these are great rules to follow if someone wants to lose bodyfat. You can also include the effect of caffiinated drinks like coffee, green tea, etc on fat loss in the article.
